I'm home, I'm home!

I've missed you so

I've closed the miles between us

But I can't close this space in front of us

Times are rough

Fears of fevers and coughs

All I hear is the voice on the phone

The only thing I feel is the phone on my ear

and a shattering of my heart

to know how tired you are

I'm a baby bird that keeps coming back to its nest

and I'm trying to take care of it on my own

I'd rather give you my love than the risk of pain

so I can't hug you right now

Although,

a hug from you

would probably

make me whole
