Kpop Babey

Before you start cringing and being like ergggggg, its frekin music calm down. If you don't like it then it's fine but don't bring someone down for it.

I've always been a fan of Kpop since I was young; my favorite two groups were Super Junior and Girls Generation lol. One day tho I just moved away from Kpop. At the time I only had one korean friend who I could talk to Kpop about, but she moved away.

Last year and this year, I've been getting back into Kpop, and it's been a BLAST BAHABHAHBHA. I've become a fan of a lot of old and new groups and I really like watching the choreography. To be honest, I think I got interested in it again because

1. I wanted to improve my Korean; I can speak and understand it, but I wanted to improve my reading, writing, and comprehension.

2. I had friends who finally shared the same interests. It's just nice being able to talk about it with people lol.

I appreciate how it's part of Korean culture, and how it's something popular and well known for people outside of Korea. I guess for me, it's just another way to try and get in touch with my culture.

I think one thing that gets on my nerves is when people look down on Kpop, saying "why do the boys wear makeup", or" why would fans like them so much." 1st of all, Korea is not gonna have the same culture as America....Korea's beauty standards are VERY different from ours. Feminine men aren't looked down on/considered weird in Korea. Like makeup is just a normal thing to them jeez. 2nd of all, I mean come on, they look cool as hell. They have to go through so much training and all that; it's not an easy life for them. They all worked their butts off to be recognized. It's just childish to say that it's stupid; let people enjoy things omg. Yes, there are some CRAZY CRINGE fans, but there's always going to be those kinds of people. And there are problematic things of course in the Kpop world itself, like how idols literally have no privacy because they are always being stalked by crazy fans, and how they can't even date or marry peacefully. I just don't think it's valid to trash on Kpop because people don't personally like it; let people be (unless they are being toxic).

Woodz has a wide variety of music; if you hear "I need a cha cha beat boy" before a song, YOU KNOW ITS ABOUT TO BE FIRE AS HELL. That's just a tag line for a producer named Malone.

IU is iconic. I don't listen to her that much, but she has some bops and her voice is really soothing.

SUPER JUNIOR = KING SHITTTTTTTTTT ICONICCCCC My number 1 group of all time.

I don't listen to TWICE that much, but they have some BOPS.

OKAY SHINEE IS KING SHIT TOOOOOOOO UGHHHHH they are tied with Super Junior in 1st place for me. They are iconicccccc.

Red Velvet are queeennsss. I don't listen to them that much (lol I don't listen to that many girl groups) but they have some good songs.

TAEMIN IS FROM SHINEE AND HES A KING DANCING KING BEST DANCER IN THE KPOP INDUSTRY EVERYONE KNOWS BAHBAHBAH.

NCT (stands for neo culture technology)... to me it was an acquired taste. Some of their songs I was like ehhhhhh but then when you keep listening they become BOPS BRUH.

EXO. They are ICONIC too lol. I keep saying everyone is iconic but they literally are. Ryan Reynolds loves EXO, and he's even an unofficial member.

I think this is KRnB? But DEAN's music is super groovy.
